Privacy policy

Who we are
Koda is a brand of Carlo Ventures ("we", "us"), based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For privacy questions, email hello@kodadesign.in.
What we collect
- Enquiry and application forms: the details you type (such as name, email, phone, business name, message, portfolio link) plus the page you sent it from and the time.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- WhatsApp: if you message us, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that conversation under its own terms.
- Analytics: only if enabled on this site and only if you click “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed and device type.
- Browser storage: we store small preferences in your browser (theme choice, checklist progress, consent choice, a submission counter used to stop spam). These never leave your device.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals, process job applications, send the newsletter you asked for, and understand which pages help visitors. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which may process data outside India. Access is restricted to Koda’s administrator account.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact. Applications: up to 12 months. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
